Championship seasons typically come with an array of individual awards.

It was no different this season for Suffolk County Conference IV boys basketball champs Center Moriches.

Two weeks after holding off Shoreham-Wading River to capture its 18th county title, the Red Devils were showered with individual awards this week from the Suffolk County Boys Basketball Coaches Association.

Star senior forward Jaden Kealey is the League VII Player of the Year. He also earned All County and All League honors, along with Dayrien Franklin.

Jordan Falco was named All League and Jacob Wilkinson pulled in Academic All County honors. Falco and Franklin made the All Tourney (Conference IV) team. Center Moriches’ Sonny Saguto received the League VII JV Coach of the Year award.

On Feb. 28, Center Moriches defeated Shoreham-Wading River, 76-61, to capture the Conference IV title and finish the abbreviated season with a 10-1 record.
