UPDATE: Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches announced that is it has postponed the 18th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.

“The health and safety of the residents of our communities is, as always, the primary concern for the Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches,” the chamber said on its website. “The Chamber wishes to assist in the prevention of the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and therefore both the St. Patrick’s Dinner Party, Friday March 13th, and the St. Patrick’s Parade, Sunday March 15th, are being POSTPONED. The new date is still undetermined. We will send communications once these events have been re-scheduled.

Get your green gear ready. The 18th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade down Main Street in Center Moriches is set for March 15.

The event, organized by Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches, will run from 2–4 p.m.

The 2020 grand marshals are Thomas and Elsie Tebbens.
